At Black Label Bar, we know how important it is to have good service at an event. We understand that the difference between good service and great service is the people. That’s why it’s important to know who you’re hiring and why they do what they do!
We launched Black Label Bar in 2019 after we saw a need for mobile bartending services in the greater Frederick Area. Our combined almost 45 years in the service industry has allowed us to know what does and doesn’t work for events, and we wanted to use our skills and industry knowledge to help others make their events unforgettable! Since starting Black Label Bar, we have worked numerous events in the DMV area, and we know a thing or two about how to make a good event great.

Caitlin Wigfield
Caitlin has worked in various roles within the service and special event industry for over 15 years, but she has always especially enjoyed bartending. She and Heather have been great friends for many years and have worked hard to combine their passions for and knowledge of the service industry into Black Label Bar.
Born and raised in Frederick County, Caitlin enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two young children in their home in Brunswick, MD. She loves what she does, and she feels lucky to be a part of their clients’ life celebrations.
Heather Daugherty
Heather has been in the service industry since she could get a work permit over 25 years ago. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to tend bar at several incredible local establishments. She and Caitlin have shared many of life’s happiest moments together, the cherry on top being launching Black Label Bar together.
Heather’s biggest motivations are her two children, hardworking husband, and (probably too many) animals. She and Caitlin live by a motto of “it takes a village”, and she is always excited to be a part of that village to help turn her clients’ dreams into reality.
Carrie Dennison
Lead Bartender
Carrie has worked in customer service for her entire life and her love for serving others shows in her smile as she mixes up tasty cocktails. Carrie loves observing the joy that fills a room when people are coming together at a special event.
When Carrie is not serving up a cold beverage, she’s supporting the community through her yoga teaching and healing services in her own business, Self Care with Carrie. Carrie’s energy is affectionate and uplifting. She is grateful to get to work alongside her best friends and support their entrepreneurial journey.
